OUR OBJECTIVES
BUILD THE WHY NOT ME CENTER
The Why Not Me (WNM) Center will be a new, full-scale recreational center in Linguère, with education & sports facilities, community areas, first aid services, and a dining hall.
Raising the necessary funds to build the WNM Center is our primary goal in 2023. The WNM Center will serve as focal point for all WNM daily operations, programs, special events & camps.
Estimated Budget: $1,800,000
SCHOOL RENOVATION IN LINGUÉRE
Why Not Me has partnered with local Linguère leaders to renovate 8 local elementary schools with much-needed repairs, desks, supplies, and resources.
Our goal is to create a safe space where all children in Linguère can learn and thrive… even the Talibè!!
By improving the environment and implementing the WNM sports and education programs, the once forgotten “Talibè” boys will join their peers in the local school system.
Estimated Budget: $100,000 per school
CONTINUE TO GROW OUR CURRENT PROGRAMS
Now that we have some great successes under our belt, we will focus on scaling up the operation as we fine-tune and update our infrastructure and doubling the number of kid we’re able to take in. Thank you to all those who have helped bring us this far.
